Vidushi Ankitha Rai:
Vidushi Ankitha Rai, daughter of Lakshmisha Rai and Umavathi Rai, Sullia has been learning Bharathanatyam from Guru Vidyashree Radhakrishna from the age of 9. She has completed her Vidwat examinations in Bharathanatyam with first class grade.
She is an active member of 'YAGNA', the performing wing of Gaana Nritya Academy and has performed in various prestigious stages like Prasar Bharathi, Delhi Karnataka Sangha, Hampi Utsav, Natyanjali festival and Mysore. Currently she is undertaking the GNA branch in Mangalore and Sullia.
Vidushi Tanya K Shetty:
Vidushi Tanya Shetty, daughter of Kishore Shetty and Chethana Shetty, Mangaluru has been learning Bharathanatyam from Guru Vidyashree Radhakrishna since 15 years. She has completed her Vidwat examinations in Bharathanatyam and junior grade in Carnatic Music.
Being a member of 'YAGNA', the performing wing of Gaana Nritya Academy, she has performed in various prestigious stages like Prasar Bharathi, Delhi for ABU festival, Hampi Utsav and Udupi Rajangana.
She has also secured first and third places in the National level competetion organised by A.B.S.S., Pune in group and trio categories respectively. She has also participated in workshops conducted by Guru Rama Vaidyanathan, Delhi and Meenakshi Srinivasan, Chennai.
Vidushi Ruth Prithika:
Vidushi Ruth Prithika is the daughter of Dr. Roshan Ann Maben and Dr. E.V.S. Maben. She is a disciple of Guru Vidyashree Radhakrishna, Gaana Nritya Academy, Mangalore. She is currently pursuing computer science engineering at NMAMIT, Nitte.
She has been learning this divine form of art since the tender age of five. She has successfully completed her Vidwat exam in Bharathanatyam and junior grade in Carnatic music. She has performed with Gaana Nritya Academy at various stages in and around the country. She has also performed at the Doordarshan Studio in Delhi for Prasar Bharti during the ABU Dance festival held in 2016.
She has won various awards in several classical solo dance competetions held at the district, state and national level. She has received training in Kathak and Odissi dance forms through the workshops organized by the Academy.
Bindiya G Bangera:
Bindiya G Bangera is the daughter of Ganesh Bangera and Chitra Bangera. She is learning Bharathanatyam under Guru Vidyashree Radhakrishna, Mangalore. She has done her Masters in Commerce. She started learning Bharathanatyam at the small age of five.
She has completed her pre Vidwat examination. She has performed in various prestigious stages, specially at Tirupati, Guruvayur temple, Belur Chennakeshava temple, and also at the Billava Sangha, Dubai. She has also attended Kathak and Odissi workshops at the academy.
Kum. Vaishnavi Bhat, daughter of K Govind Bhat and Veena G Bhat. She started learning Bharathanatyam at the age of 6 under Guru Vidyashree Radhakrishna. She has completed her Pre Vidwat examination with distinction.
She has won many prizes in Bharathanatyam solo competetion conducted in and around Mangalore and also she has participated in many programmes including the well known Dasara festival of Mysore, Youth fest of Mangalore and the prestigious stage at Tirupati.
Besides this, she has also done great achievements in N.C.C. She has represented Karnataka and Goa directorate at "Republic Day Parade", New Delhi in 2015. She has won the best Cadet Award for the year, 2012-13 and also 2014-15. Presently she is pursuing engineering in Information Science at NMAMIT, Nitte.
Chirashri U is the daughter of Udayshankar B and Mamatha M. She has taken the training of Bharathanatyam at the age of 6 from Guru Vidyashree Radhakrishna. She is also being trained in Carnatic music by Guru Vidwan Krishnacharya.
She has performed in various stages along with the GNA performing group. She has also participated and won in the Bharathanatyam competetion conducted by Global Council of Art and Culture, 2016 which was held in Colombo, Sri Lanka. She has also been a part of Kathak and Odissi workshops organised by the team. She is curently studying in second P.U.C at B.G.S. Composite P.U. College, Mangalore.
Sharanya K, daughter of K. Shankara Narayana and K.Krishna Kumari, Mangaluru. She is a disciple of Guru Vidyashree Radhakrishna, Gaana Nritya Academy, Mangalore. She has been learing this divine form of art since the tender age of six. She has successfully completed her Vidwat poorva examination in Bharathanatyam.
She has a junior grade in Carnatic music and is preparing for her senior grade. She has performed with the Gaana Nritya Academy at various stages. She has won various awards in several classical solo dance competetions held at district, state and national levels.
She is currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science and Engineering at SIT, Valachil.
Megha Malar Prabhakar:
Megha Malar is the daughter of Prabhakar and Chitralatha. She is learning Bharathanatyam from Guru Vidyashree Radhakrishna and Kathak from Guru Sweekruth B P. She has won in various intercollegiate as well as international level competetions. She has also performed in various prestigious stages around South India.
She has completed her Senior Grade examination in Bharathanatyam and is progressing. She is currently pursuing her B.A. JMC at Nitte University.
Music Teacher at Gaana Nritya Academy since 8 years. He has completed Vidwat grade exams in Carnatic Music Vocal. Although he is a diploma holder of Electrical engineering, he has dedicated himself to the music field.
He is also a graded vocalist of Akashvani, Mangalore. He has composed music to a number of dance teams in and around South Canara and also conducted various concerts at classical and light music sabhas.
Vidwan Sweekruth B P:
Kathak Teacher at Gaana Nritya Academy. He is an accomplished Kathak dancer, teacher and choreographer from Bengaluru. He is the director of "Sathkrutha Academy of Movement and Expression(S.A.M.E)". He is an 'A' grade artist of Doordarshan and is a recipient of the dance scholarship in the field of Kathak from the Minsitry of Tourism and Culture.
Abhinaya nrutya Bharathi- Eluru(A.P) felicitated him with "Nrutya Kowmudhi" award for the year 2008. he has received accolades from both the dance fraternity and critics.
Vidwan Anantharam Holla:
Flute and keyboard teacher at Gaana Nritya Academy. He has studied music at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (1981-1989). He has learnt flute at Amrutha Sangeetha Sabha and Sanathana Natyalaya.
He is the music director of Hayavadana Dasara Padagalu. He has played flute for various albums. He has aso performed at Vrindavan, Sri ranga, Tamilnadu, Tirupati, Bangalore etc.
